 Mass Wasting, Landslides, creep, mudflows their similarities and differences. Mass Wasting Landslides Creep Mudflows Definition Landslide is the rapid movement down hill of soil and rock Creep soil moves down hill slowly or over long periods of time Movement of soil on steep slopes water mixing with soil Similarities All soil is being affected by gravity. Differences - The way in which the gravity affects the process differs. The time also differs. The way in which they are initiated can differ.


Preston, Colton, Chiffon and Phillips group - How does it affect a building sight

1. Sink holes are like limestone underground it make cares and the top make sink holes. It makes caves and some sort of a half hill. You shouldn’t build on a chemical weathered sink hole because it can damage the house and make holes on the bottom of the house.

2.What is chemical weathering?

Chemical weathering = sink holes

Chemical weathering in soil, formation, and the process that occurs when the minerals in rocks react with water or other substances, causing the chemical makeup of the rock to change.
